I NEED YOUR HELP!

Ok, so my little angelic son Chase decided to pour himself a glass of milk while I was up blow drying my hair. I came downstairs to find 1/2 gallon of milk all over my rug in the family room. I got all the milk up that I could, washed with water and soap. My house stunk so terrribly bad for a couple days but I kept trying ... so now my house doesn't smell like sour milk anymore but if you stick your nose down on the spot in the rug it is a horrible stench! I've tried baking soda, alcohol (read that on on-line), club soda. Any other ideas????

Try soaking in Oxy Clean. I've been able to get some pretty bad things out with that stuff. Soak hot water for a few days.

I know you're not going to want to hear this...The week we had our dishwasher installed, it flooded into the next room (Mack's now) It was only water, but it was soaked. We thought we dried it all up, but it started to stink so bad. We had to lift up the carpet, and replace that part of the pad. If it's accessible, it might be the best option, because it's probably molding down there. I am so sorry that happened, but really Lori, if you would just stop ignoring your kids, you might not have these problems! :)

I have spilled raw egg casserole in my car before. It smelled like a treat. The only way I got rid of the smell, and I tried everything, was to actually pour white vinegar on the seat, let it sit, scrub a bit. Once it dries it smells a bit like a distillery, but if you sprinkle baking soda on it for a few days, I bet it will smell better - just don't get that spot wet again.

Aren't kids fun, I wish they came with a bank account to pay for everything they break, or damage.

BTW - I am friends with Kelly T.
